Mark Williams: On To Year Two
So everyone can relax now
After a freshman season where he began a remarkable surge after moving into the starting lineup late, Duke’s Mark Williams has announced he’ll be back next year.
This may seem obvious to some. He wasn’t physically ready for the NBA but there wasn't touch question about his role next season either - he’s certainly going to start.
Nonetheless, Williams, who is highly intelligent and a bit mischievous, had a bit of fun with some gullible fans and sites, giving just enough of teases to make it seem that he was flirting with leaving.
Some people posted nervous responses and some sites jumped at the chance for cheap clickbait, posting suggestions that he could be gone so be scared Duke fans...be very, very scared.
Well that’s over now. He’s made it clear he’s coming back so Duke fans can relax.
