Cavaliers vs. Raptors: Preview and how to watch

0 11
NBA: Toronto Raptors at Cleveland Cavaliers
Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

Can the Cavs get it done against a banged up Raptors squad?

The Cavaliers will look to win their third game in a row as the Raptors come into town fighting for their play-in lives.

What’s been happening: The Cavs have won two straight, finishing off their three-game road trip with victories over San Antonio and Oklahoma City. In each of the two wins, the offense looked as good as it has all year. Against the Spurs it was the Darius Garland show as he went for a career-high 37 points. When they went to Oklahoma City, Collin Sexton led the way with 27 points while Garland added in 21.

As for the Raptors, things have gone about as poorly as anyone could have imagined this year. They come in to Cleveland having lost two straight and six of their last eight games. The Raptors are on the outside looking in at the play-in picture, and a loss to the Cavs would drop them into 12th place in the East, with the Cavs leapfrogging them.

So far this season the Cavs and the Raptors have squared off once, with Cleveland taking home a 116-105 victory and sparking a postgame argument between head coach Nick Nurse and Pascal Siakam.
