[Men's Basketball] Pack Earns NAIA All-America Recognition
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Friends University senior guard Davonte Pack (SR/Sumter, SC) has been named an NAIA All-America performer as an honorable-mention selection, the national office released today (Mar. 25).
Also a unanimous first-team All-KCAC choice, Pack led the Falcons and was third in the conference with 17.6 points per game while also tallying a team-leading 9.2 rebounds a game that ranked second in the league.
The Sumter, SC native also tied for second in the league with 11 double-doubles on the season.
Pack also ranked 19th in the NAIA in defensive rebounds per game (7.5), with his 9.2 rebounds ranking 27th in the nation.
A model of consistency this season, Pack scored in double-figures in all but two of the Falcons' 24 outings.
Pack and the Falcons advanced to the KCAC quarterfinals before having their season end with a loss at top-seeded Bethel College.
