2022 guard Corey Floyd Jr. talks UConn
By RYAN McMULLEN
Corey Floyd Jr., UConn commit from Roselle Catholic (NJ), spoke with D1MediaPro about Uconn after taking down Bergen Catholic in overtime.
“It’s really just team basketball over there. They all get along together and just want to win,” said Floyd about his future school.
Floyd chose the Huskies over schools such as Auburn, Florida, and Auburn in January.
When making picking Uconn over these schools, Floyd said “they made me feel like family, which is very important to me. They just have that dog mentality.”
Floyd is leading Roselle Catholic to a 12-3 start on the season. He is averaging 19.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.8 assists.
