NCAA extends recruiting dead period through May 31

The NCAA has extended the recruiting dead period through May 31, 2021, Nicole Auerbach of The Athletic reported Wednesday.
The NCAA Division I Council voted to approve the extension Wednesday.
The dead period was previously set to extend through the the Final Four, which is set for April 3 and 5 in Indianapolis.
The latest dead period extension could have major implications for class of 2021 and 2022 prospects.
