UD Hall of Fame, Redux

Studying our credentials for CBS Top 68 All-Time Programs, thoughts turned to our internal Hall of Fame.

-- Blackburn '69, Donoher '92
-- Most recent players Waleskowski '14, Brian Roberts '17, Chris Wright '20

I've seen posts about players like Sibert, Vee Sanford ... Ed Young was inducted in 2003. Vee had similar stats, and his "shot" was almost certainly more significant to program history.

Here's last season's media guide:

-- Among traditional players, Ramod Marshall, Brooks Hall and Chris Johnson seem next in line.
-- Tony Stanley is deserving stats-wise but doesn't seem remembered too fondly.
-- If Jalen has a big senior season, his credentials may surpass Scoochie
-- Obi seems like a shoo-in; customary waiting time is ~10 yrs
-- I'd like to see the entire 2019-20 team inducted (and soon) once pandemic clears. Would be a great way to celebrate them.
-- Just missing the cut: Hare, Pierre, Marcus Johnson

Here's your coaching list:

-- While OP never advanced in the NCAA, he made (2) with (2) conference titles (in the East/West era)
-- you could make a HOF case for each of Purnell, Gregory, and Miller, though none stayed long or did quite enough to reach legendary status
-- Of the 3, I'd argue OP was most critical, guiding us from the Great Midwest to A-10, back to a foundation that could be built on
-- But of those since Donoher, Grant may outclass them all, if he stays long-term and makes a couple deep tournament runs
