[Men's Basketball] Bearcats Start to Announce Men's Basketball Recruiting Class
Head Coach Brian Skortz has started to announce the 2020 recruiting class committed to play at Brescia University. During the next few weeks the entire recruiting class with names will be released, announcing the newest Bearcats to the Men's Basketball Program. Francis Okeyia, a 6'4" Wing-Forward has committed to Brescia University coming from Springwood School in Alabama. Okeyia a very skilled and athletic player was named Third Team All-State while averaging 19.6ppg 11rpg and 6.7apg. Coach Lisa Sampson, Auburn Raptors 2022 Boys and Springwood School (AL) Head Coach, had this to say about Okeyia's recruitment to Brescia University, "Looking forward to watching Francis do big things at the next level! ". Coach Lincoln Glass, Head Coach at Macon East Academy/AUBURN Raptors 17u, had this to say about Okeyia's recruitment to Brescia University, "Francis is a dynamic playmaker who can score at all 3 levels, and will be a great addition to Brescia University. Francis will be a standard of Excellence on and off the floor for Coach Skortz. Coach Lisa Sampson at Springwood has done an amazing job with the development of Francis.
