The Golden State Warriors spent the last five years atop one of the best dynasties in NBA history. Yet that didn’t keep them from heartbreak.

Twice during that time, the Warriors fell short of a title. And both hurt, for very different reasons.

This week at SB Nation we’re discussing the best teams in franchise history to never win a championship. Choosing the best one in Warriors history is incredibly difficult. Is it the 2015-16 team, which holds the record for most wins in a regular season, and seemed destined to win everything, before falling short in heartbreaking fashion?

Or was it the 2018-19 team, which is arguably the most overwhelming assemblage of talent in NBA history, that sleepwalked through the regular season and suffered horrendous injuries in the playoffs.
