[Men's Basketball] Skyhawks Struggle to Close Things Out at Kentucky Christian

Grayson, Ky-- Point traveled to Kentucky to take on KCU in a big AAC Conference match up on Saturday. Both teams are on the bubble of being in or out of the Conference Tournament and both teams desperately needed a win to get one step closer to solidifying their spot in the tournament. The Skyhawks jumped on top early and led the majority of the first half and also led going into the locker room by a score of 41-35. The Knights would trail early in the second half by 9 points but never allow the Skyhawks to jump to a double digit lead at any point in the game. The Skyhawks would go into a scoring drought at the 15 minute mark and allow the Knights to go on a 14-2 run to take the lead by 4 with 8 minutes remaining. Point would battle back to tie but KCU would eventually take control and go on to win by a score of 74-68. This loss sends the Skyhawks to a 15-13 record overall and an even 11-11 in conference.
