Chicago’s Major Sports Teams

Chicago is known to be one of the best sports cities in the US for many reasons. This city has teams from the five major American professional team sports, including baseball, basketball, hockey, football, soccer.

Baseball

Baseball season starts from April to September, making April one of the most exciting months for most sports fans. Chicago has two winning Major League Baseball (MLB) teams. The Chicago Cubs is one of Chicago’s major sports teams.

Another team is the Chicago Wolves. They were a smash hit from the moment they took to the ice in 1994. Soccer

The first soccer team is Chicago Fire. They play from March through October. The other team is the Chicago Red Stars. They are the city’s professional women’s soccer club and play from April through September.
