In high school, Schaefer was a three-sport athlete for Notre Dame, starring in girls basketball, softball, and volleyball. Schaefer was part of Notre Dame's first three district title-winning volleyball programs -- the Titans have won six in a row and counting -- and led the Lady Titans to back-to-back Division IV District Final appearances as a junior in 2016 and a senior in 2017, which set the stage for Notre Dame's first pair of Division IV District Championships in 2017 and 2018.
The junior is a career 34.9 percent three-point shooter at Shawnee State. More below!
