Duke Moves Up In AP, Coaches Poll

As Stephen F. Austin fades in the rearview
The new polls came out Monday and in AP, Duke has bounced back up to #7. In the coaches poll, which we put more stock in, the Blue Devils are #5.
Sticking with the coaches poll, Louisville is #1, Virginia is #8, UNC is #16 and Florida State is #21.
In the AP, It’s Louisville #1 again, Virginia #9, UNC #17 and FSU #21 again.
Over at Kenpom.com, not surprisingly, it’s a different story. Here are the ACC teams:

- Virginia Tech: #60
- Notre Dame: #67

- Clearly, not a vintage year so far. If the tournament field were picked today, the ACC would get six certain bids: Louisville Duke, Virginia, FSU, UNC and NC State. Virginia Tech might have an argument too but so far it’s six.
