Best wishes for his recovery. An Achilles injury is so tough to come back from.
Wake’s depth took a hit as freshmen Tariq Ingraham tore his Achilles tendon Thursday. He had surgery Friday and obviously is out for the season. Coming back from an Achilles injury is not easy but the good news is that he’s young and more likely to recover.
Ingraham, who is 6-9, came to Wake at nearly 280. He’d already lost 20 lbs so clearly he was motivated. He’ll rehab this season and hopefully next year he’ll be ready to go.
It’s a tough blow for Danny Manning because his team is already low on big guys.
