Warriors vs. Magic: Can the Dubs bounce back without Durant?
Golden State will be without two of their top players as they head to Orlando.
The Golden State Warriors face the Orlando Magic tonight at 4:00 p.m. PT on NBC Sports Bay Area. Playing on the back end of a back-to-back, the Warriors will be looking to get back in the win column after a stunning last-second loss to the Miami Heat on Wednesday.
Golden State will be short-handed when they do so, as Kevin Durant (rest) and Andre Iguodala (illness) will both sit.
Injury report for tonight’s game at Orlando: Jonas Jerebko (right quad contusion) is probable. Kevin Durant (rest), Andre Iguodala (illness) and Damian Jones (left pectoral surgery) are out.

Without those two, playing a back-to-back, and in the middle of a four-game road trip, the Warriors will surely be reliant on some bench players to provide energy and quality minutes. Expect to see a fair share of Alfonzo McKinnie, Quinn Cook, Kevon Looney, and Jordan Bell tonight.
It will also be a big test of heart, hustle, and scheme for Golden State, as Orlando is a much bigger team. The Magic start the very large and highly athletic duo of Aaron Gordon and Jonathan Isaac - and that’s alongside All-Star center Nikola Vucevic. The Magic are fourth this year in defensive rebound rate - the Warriors are 16th.
It won’t be easy going against that size, especially without Durant. But hopefully we can all be treated to a game as good as the last one that transpired when these two teams met in November.
Last time the Dubs took on the Magic, KD went OFF for 49 points & Klay dropped 19 in the fourth for a comeback win.
