The Brescia University Men's Basketball season came to an end with a 99- 87 loss to WVT in Beckley, WV.  The Bearcats started off slow and tied the game 32-32  with over four minutes left in the first half.  The Bearcats hit a dry spell turning the ball over tree times and missing four consecutive shots allowing WVTU to go into half with a 51-36 lead.  Brescia would come back again cutting the lead down to 10 and then down to seven with a minute to play.  Brescia had an opportunity to cut into the lead further but had a costly turnover.  Brescia was lead by Dillon Gerlads scoring 24 points and adding 12 rebounds.  Kayode Daboiku added 20 points, Damontae Barnhill chipped in with 16 points and Tristen Murray poured in 15 points.  All American Elisha Boone had 27 point and 15 boards in the win for WVTU.  "We had some chances but turnovers and missed open shots seemed to be the day.  We battled hard against a real good team in WVTU, Geralds had a great second half but WVTU responded with big shots when they needed them and forced us at times into untimely turnovers.  I am proud of our Seniors McDaniel, Morrow and Geralds .... they are outstanding individuals and have really worked hard in building this program.  They will be missed." stated Head Coach Brian Skortz.  "We are disappointed in the loss, but these guys did some special things this year." add Coach Skortz  The Bearcats finished the season at 15-14, and 11-7 in the RSC Conference.
