MADISON, S.D. (Jan. 30, 2019)—The Dakota State University Lady T's basketball team (3-19 overall record, 2-7 NSAA conference record) is scheduled to play their final home regular-season games at DSU Fieldhouse. The Lady T"s host a pair of league-leading teams, Mayville State (N.D.) and Valley City State (N.D.).
DSU hosts Mayville State (13-6 overall record, 7-2 NSAA conference record) in the first annual 'Ag Ball' game on Friday evening. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m. On Saturday, the Lady T's play their final home game of the regular-season versus Valley City State (10-10 overall record, 7-2 NSAA) with a tip-off slated for 3 p.m.
The Lady T's will be honoring their lone senior on the team, Kelley Criddle, in a brief ceremony after the conclusion of the game on Saturday. Prior to this weekend's games, she had played 105 career games at Dakota State.
DSU kicked off the second-half portion of the North Star conference schedule with a pair of road defeats. The Lady T's fell short to Viterbo (Wis.) 67-61 on Jan. 25 and Waldorf (Iowa) 84-70 on Jan. 26. MSU went 2-0 record last weekend, cruising past Dickinson State (N.D.) 75-55 on Jan. 25 and Presentation (S.D.) 64-55 on Jan. 26. VCSU dropped to PC 56-53 on Jan. 25, but bounced back with a 78-65 win over DiSU on Jan 26.
Next Up: Dakota State kicks off their four-game road trip to conclude their regular-season schedule, starting next weekend with a pair of North Star contests. The Lady T's visit Presentation (S.D.) on Feb. 8 (next Friday) , followed by another league game at Dickinson State (N.D.) on Saturday, Feb. 9.
