[Men's Basketball] Bearcats defeat CCU in RSC Conference Play

The Brescia University Men's Basketball extended their winning streak to four games with a 101-88 win over CCU.  After reeiveing votes nationally in the NAIA National Men's Basketball Poll the Bearcats took the court.  Kayode Daboiku led the Bearcats after being honored for scoring over 1000 points in his career with 27 point and 10 rebounds.  Dillon Geralds added 18 and Freshman Jalen Rose set a new career high with 15 points as well.  Murray and McDaniel also has scored in double digits with 13 and 10 points respectively.  "This was a big game for us.  CCU added two players at break that have really played well for them and with us coming off of a big win at WVT we had to response.  We responded to their runs with big plays and Jalen Rose played a very good game offensively to give us a spark off of the bench." stated Head Coach Brian Skortz.  The Bearcats shot 20 of 24 from the line and shot 49% from the field.  Brescia will now travel to Kokomo on Saturday for a huge game with IU Kokomo who defeated IU Southeast on Tuesday as well.  The Bearcats are 6-1 in league play.
