[Men's Basketball] Scots Set To Host Tornadoes In Home Opener

BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College men's basketball team officially opens up its 2018-19 season at home against Talladega College as the Scots will play their first two games of the season in Becknell Gymnasium. Head coach Chad Tapp returns for his sixth season with a lineup that includes three seniors. Last season, Lyon reached the semifinals of the American Midwest Conference Tournament after knocking off No. 1-seed (then-No. 5 Nationally Ranked) Columbia College, 65-61, in overtime during the quarterfinals of the AMC Tournament. The Scots are 2-3 in season openers and home openers under Tapp.
