TOUCHDOWN SQUIRREL might’ve outgained Sparty
Squirrel shows solid top-end speed and quickness, would draft.
No. 5 Michigan defeated No. 24 Michigan State 21-7 on Saturday, the Wolverines winning for the second time in a row in East Lansing. It was pretty lopsided — Mark Dantonio’s team was outgained by UM in almost every category.
As the game was ending, a squirrel somehow made its way onto the field and scored this gorgeous touchdown — it was literally untouched by defenders on his way into the end zone:

This squirrel may have almost outgained MSU’s 94 yards from Saturday on this score!

Saturday’s Wolverine victory marks just the second Michigan win over Sparty in six years.
It’s not the first time a squirrel has made a highlight reel during a college football game — in the middle of a Louisville game in 2017, this squirrel had this beautiful touchdown run, and it was even cheered on by announcers on the run:

REPEAT: SQUIRREL TOUCHDOWN

This Michigan State squirrel definitely showed good speed, agility, and elusiveness on his way to the house — with a few more runs like this season, this squirrel could be looking at a Day 1 selection during the upcoming NFL draft.
