[Women's Soccer] WOMEN'S SOCCER TABBS LOCAL FORMER DIVISION I STANDOUT ELE MARGELOS TO LEAD PROGRAM

Takoma Park, MD -  The Washington Adventist University Athletics Director Patrick E. Crarey II, announced the hiring of Ele Margelos as the head coach of the women's soccer program. Margelos brings a wealth of knowledge and experience being a former Division I standout at Gardner Webb University.

"I am excited to join WAU," said Margelos. "Coach Sandoval did a great job with the team and I am just excited to continue to build this program. I am excited to know the team on and off the field, getting an understanding of all the player's personalities, work ethic, and understanding of the game. We are adding 13 new players this year that should help increase the dynamic of the team/practice. We are ready to get to work and have a great season."
