How to watch Round 1 of the NHL Draft
The action starts at 7:30 p.m. ET in Dallas.
The 2018 NHL Draft begins on Friday, with the first round live from American Airlines Center in Dallas.
NBCSN will televise the first day of NHL Draft, with hosts Liam McHugh and Kathryn Tappen joined by analyst Pierre McGuire and reporters Bob McKenzie, Craig Button, and Darren Dreger. Online coverage will be streamed online through NBCSports.com as well as the NBC Sports app.
The NHL Draft will be broadcast in Canada on SportsNet and TVA Sports.
The Buffalo Sabres hold the top pick in the draft for the first time since 1987, and the consensus first overall selection is Swedish prodigy Rasmus Dahlin, vying to be the first defenseman drafted with the top pick since 2014 and just the second in the last 12 years.
