Kerr/Steph game planning for Harden/CP targeting Steph in isolations

0

From today's media session: Steph talks about game planning against Houston.

Says the Dubs is used to teams trying to pick on Steph, e.g. Cleveland Finals, and will proceed accordingly

Note in the last Finals, the Dubs used a "high tag" to prevent Steph from getting switched on to Lebron James, and it worked remarkably well. I don't recall Steph defending him in isolation for more than ~3-5 possessions the whole series.

Here's more about the "high tag" that Eric Apricot describes: https://bballbreakdown.com/2017/05/30/the-new-way-stephen-curry-defends-lebron-james/

Video example of this high tag

Am very curious as to whether the Dubs will use this high tag approach against Harden and CP.

Wonder if there are significant differences in how Houston/Harden & CP can counter it, particularly differently than Cleveland/James?

Particularly of interest because, per Anthony Slater's mega series preview, six of the final seven Houston possessions in the last game in January involved Harden and CP alternating to force isolations against Steph, with mixed results
