Kentucky Derby Day full schedule and results

The 2018 Kentucky Derby will start at 6:50 p.m. ET on Saturday, but that’s just the end of a long day of thoroughbred racing at Churchill Downs in Louisville.

Television coverage on Saturday begins at noon on NBCSN until 2:30 p.m. ET when the broadcast shifts over to NBC. Online streaming is available through NBC Sports Live Extra.

Justify is the favorite to win the first leg of the Triple Crown, but the field is full of contenders, including Magnum Moon and Mendelssohn. But Derby Day starts at 10:30 a.m. ET. Be sure to check back often throughout the day as this is updated with results.

Humana Distaff

This seven-furlong race features fillies and mares four years and older, one of three Grade I races on the day.

Longines Distaff Turf Mile

This Grade II race is also between fillies and mares four years and up, this one over a mile with a $300,000 purse.

Pat Day Mile

This mile-long race is run on the main track between 3-year-olds.

American Turf

$300,000 is up for grabs in this 1 1/16-mile race for 3-year-olds on the Matt Winn Turf Course.

Churchill Downs

Four-year-olds and up complete in a Grade II race over seven furlongs, with a $500,000 purse.

Old Forester Turf Classic

This 1⅛-mile Grade I race is on grass for 4-year-olds and older.

Kentucky Derby

The 144th running of the Run for the Roses features a $1 million purse.
