[Men's Golf] UNOH Wins Men's Golf Spring Championship

AUGUSTA, Mich. - (Complete Results) -  UNOH shot a 15-under par in the final round of the 2018 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) to win the spring tournament by 42 strokes and claim the league's automatic berth to the NAIA Championships May 15-18. The Racers carded a 54-hole team total of 840 for a new school record by placing four golfers in the top six finishers at Gull Lake View Stonehedge North. 

Gonzola Garcia-Parada won a two-hole playoff with a birdie on hole 17 against teammate Reece Blair to take medalist honors as the duo finished at 9-under par for the tournament at 207. Garcia-Parada led after the opening day and finished the final round with a 68. Blair stormed back from fourth after 36 holes to shoot a tournament-low 65 and force the playoff. Lewis Scott finished third at 8-under.

Lawrence Tech finished second at 882 (+18) and Indiana Tech was third at 888 (+24).
