LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Los Angeles prosecutors say they are declining to bring charges against a Buffalo Bills receiver Zay Jones days after a naked, bloody argument with his brother.
The video shows a naked Jones struggling with this brother — who appears to be trying to calm him down — as well as blood on the floors and walls of the area they are in.
The arrest occurred late Monday evening and Jones required medical treatment for cuts sustained when he reportedly kicked his foot through a glass window. His brother, Cayleb Jones of the Minnesota Vikings, was “trying to stop him from jumping out a 30th floor window,” per TMZ, citing “witnesses” at the scene.
According to WKBW, Jones received medical treatment at the USC medical center after the arrest.
The Buffalo Bills released a brief statement on Tuesday evening:
“We are aware of the incident involving Zay Jones. We are still in the process of gathering more information on the matter. At this point, we will have no further comment.”
His father posted the following tweet on Wednesday afternoon:
Thank you for your prayers everyone ! Zay is with me and his mom! He’s gonna be fine! We love y’all!
