[Women's Basketball] Madonna's Sabol Breaks WHAC Rebounding Record

LIVONIA, Mich. - Madonna senior Becca Sabol eclipsed a pair of Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) career rebounding records by ending Wednesday's game with 1,163 career rebounds. She breaks the total rebounds record of 1,123 set by her older sister Hanna at Concordia (2009-13) and is set to break the rebounds per game set by Kristy Bilbie (9.1 avg), also from Concordia (1997-2001).

Sabol started her career at Concordia for the 2013-14 season where she grabbed 301 rebounds in 30 games. She transferred to Madonna where she recorded 208 rebounds during her sophomore year and 289 in her junior campaign. With one regular-season game on Saturday and tournament play left, she sits at 285 total rebounds this year.
