LeBron James limped off the court in 1st quarter, still nearly records a triple-double
James had a rare moment where he looked mortal.
LeBron James is a bionic, basketball-playing Wolverine, who will recover from any and all injuries that the human body tries to inflict upon him. Seriously, the man has never suffered a serious injury, has played every game this season, and only has one full season where he has suited up fewer than 70 times.
Another example of James’ durability: Sunday’s game against the Celtics.
James limped off the court in the first quarter
James actually appeared to be struggling to walk on that leg after banging it with Aron Baynes, although he was able to put weight on it. He did not go to the locker room, despite how it looked.
Here’s the play where the knee-on-knee contact appeared to happen.
And the exact moment:
James hobbled off the court after immediately being substituted out of the game, and a trainer was working on his knee while he was on the bench.
In the second quarter, James dropped 13.
OK, yeah, he’s fine.

The Cavs ended up blowing out the Celtics after this
James finished with 24 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds and looked as refreshed as ever as his new team looked fantastic in their debut.
