NBA All-Star Game 2018 team announcements: Time, TV schedule, and live stream info
Even though the NBA won't televise the NBA All-Star draft, fans can watch the team announcement show at 7 p.m. ET.
Now that you know which players received NBA All-Star nods, captains LeBron James and Stephen Curry will handpick players to play on their respective teams. James and Curry will select those players in a draft-style format. Unfortunately, the NBA will not broadcast the All-Star draft. But fans can watch the team announcements show on the TNT NBA Tip-Off (live stream) at 7 p.m. ET.
Indeed, both teams will have a mixture of players with different skill sets and personalities. But there is some bad blood between players. For example, Curry may pick teammate Kevin Durant but stay away from Oklahoma City's point guard Russell Westbrook. Westbrook and Durant haven't been on good terms since Durant packed his bags and took his talents to Golden State last season.
In James's case, he'll probably select any player not named Kyrie Irving. Irving and James were a potent duo in Cleveland from 2014 to 2017, but Irving asked for a trade over the offseason to get away from James. Even though this celebratory game is just for fun, James will probably stay away from Irving.
You could see James Harden and Giannis Antetokounmpo team up with James. Fans could also see Durant, Anthony Davis, and DeMarcus Cousins play alongside Curry. The possibilities are endless.
