Kelly Donnelly leads Skidmore women to pair of victories

The Skidmore women's basketball team faced Liberty League foes RPI and Union last weekend in Saratoga Springs and, as usual, Kelly Donnelly came up big for the Thoroughbreds.

Donnelly, a 5-foot-9 senior guard from Wynantskill (Averill Park High), had double-doubles in both games. She had 20 points and 11 rebounds along with four assists and three steals in a 64-48 victory over RPI last Friday and came back with 15 points and 10 rebounds along with an assist, two steals and two blocked shots in a 60-49 triumph over Union last Saturday.

The double-doubles were the second and third of the season for Donnelly, who leads the team in scoring (18.8) and rebounding (7.5) with 24 assists, 25 steals and 12 blocked shots.
