Isaiah Thomas is getting a special Kobe A.D. sneaker to celebrate his return

Nike is welcoming Isaiah Thomas back to basketball with his own special player edition Kobe A.D. ‘Mamba Mentality’ sneaker according to the J23 app. The shoe is coming in a wine and gold Cavaliers colorway.

It’s a neat-looking shoe with partial gum bottom soles. It has Thomas’ initials on the heel and a small checkmark on the upper-lateral in the shadow where the typical larger checkmark would be.

The shoe also feature’s Kobe Bryant’s logo on the back and heel of the shoe.

It’s awesome to see Nike showing Thomas love like this. He’s had specific player exclusives he’d wear during games and has worn Kobe’s shoes in the past. However, he’s never had a shoe dedicated to him in this way.

Hopefully Thomas returns to the court soon so we can see these in action.
