[Men's Soccer] Madonna Wins Men's Soccer Regular Season Title

Madonna returned to the top of men's soccer in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) by winning the 2017 regular season conference championship with a 9-1-1 league record. It's the first Crusader title since the 2008 season, bringing their total to a league-high nine (1997, 1998, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008, and 2017). 

The title came down to the final match - Madonna and Lawrence Tech tied with 8-1-1 records and Aquinas sitting with an 8-2-0 record. Madonna defeated Marygrove 3-0 while Aquinas defeated LTU 2-1 to separate the teams. Madonna will now be the top seed in the upcoming WHAC Men's Soccer Tournament Nov. 4, 8, 11.
