Dolphins vs. Ravens live stream: How to watch 'Thursday Night Football' online

0

Miami will travel to Baltimore to collide with the Ravens on Thursday.

The showdown between the Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens will feature teams fighting for their playoff lives. Miami is coming off the heels of a 31-28 comeback victory against the New York Jets, the Ravens fell to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 7. Now, the Dolphins and Ravens can focus on this Week 8 matchup on Thursday Night Football. NFL Network and CBS will broadcast the action at 8:25 p.m. ET (live stream it via Amazon Prime).

Miami (4-2 and tied for second in the AFC North) ranks dead last in total offense, and it needs to score points against the Ravens. One problem this year has been injured quarterbacks. First Ryan Tannehill was lost for the season, and now fill-in Jay Cutler will be out two to three weeks with two cracked ribs. However, the Dolphins' sixth-ranked defense should be able to neutralize Baltimore's 28th-ranked offense.

Losers of their last two games, the Ravens (3-4 and in third place in the AFC East) average 18.6 points per game. Baltimore's offense, led by quarterback Joe Flacco, must find ways to make big plays.

Dolphins vs. Ravens News

The Miami Dolphins have released cornerback Maxwell, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Maxwell, for whom the Dolphins traded last season, has found himself inactive the last four weeks, having been replaced in the team’s starting lineup by rookie Cordrea Tankersley.

With the roster space, the Dolphins have signed quarterback Fales. Fales spent training camp and the preseason with the team, but was released in the last round of roster cuts. He is familiar with the Dolphins’ offense and will provide depth behind Moore, who is being moved into the starting lineup after Cutler sustained fractured ribs this past Sunday.

The Ravens made a somewhat surprising roster move on Monday. Baltimore signed tight end Escobar and released Tony Bergstrom.

On Thursday Night Football against the Miami Dolphins, the Baltimore Ravens will don their all-purple Color Rush uniforms.

The uniform consists of their usual helmet, a purple jersey with gold numbers, and a white outline, and purple pants with a big gold stripe, surrounded by a white outline.

Dolphins vs. Ravens prediction

This will be a close game, and both defenses should make big plays. However, the Dolphins will win this game because they have more weapons on offense. Baltimore doesn't have enough offensive firepower to score touchdowns. Five of our eight experts agree in their Week 8 picks, while OddsShark’s computer sees Baltimore winning.
