Usain Bolt lost his final career race, but he's still the GOAT
Nooooooooo never leave us.
Usain Bolt pulled up early and crashed to the track in the 4x100-meter relay final at the world championships in London on Saturday night.
It’s a disappointing ending expected to be the final race for the greatest sprinter ever, which — nooooooooooo don’t leave us Usain.
Great Britain took gold, the United States grabbed silver, but like who cares. Poor Usain.
Not the way Bolt would want to end his career, but he’s still the greatest sprinter of all time. So take time to read Zito on Usain Bolt from the Rio Olympics here:
Few things can compare to the phenomenon of watching Bolt make futile the efforts of the other runners.
It’s like re-watching a horror movie and having to deal with the anxiety of seeing the characters walk right into the villain’s trap. The type of villain that practically walks but still ends up being faster than his fleeing victims. You get this urge to yell at the TV and warn them that he’s right behind them, but they already know this—Gatlin peeked over his shoulder and searched for Bolt as his lead dwindled, he was afraid. They share your fear and they also share your hopelessness, because they know how it ultimately ends.
His career accomplishments speak for themselves:

But it’s not just his record on the track! Usain Bolt made our lives better online, too.
Like when he laughed off being crashed into by a segway ...
Come for Usain Bolt's clash with a segway, stay for the "MAMMA MIA!" (h/t @tara_mulholland): http://t.co/7dOJKrtE7i https://t.co/1WEkM5jxcx

Yup, that's me. You're probably wondering how I ended up in this situation. pic.twitter.com/TXU6T6iM3B
