Women's Euro match postponed because the field was a watery mess
Rain and soccer do not mix well. On Saturday, the Women’s Euro quarterfinal between Germany and Denmark had a rain delay and was eventually postponed. Kickoff was supposed to start at 8:45 p.m. local time, but the field was too wet to play, which led to some frustration among fans, but also some funny moments with the grounds crew.

This kid thought it’d be a good idea to kick a ball while the grass was still wet. Of course it wasn’t a good idea, but at least Germany’s manager Steffi Jones was there to pick him up:

The match has been moved to Sunday afternoon, at which point that kid can kick a ball without slipping and splashing next to Steffi Jones.
