USMNT vs. Martinique live stream: How to watch 2017 Gold Cup online

The Americans need a win on Wednesday.

The United States men’s national team didn’t have their best during their first match of the Gold Cup, and is now in two must-win situations. They’re the favorites in both of their next two matches, but they still have no room for error on Wednesday when they face Martinique.

Bruce Arena has said that he’ll rotate his players throughout the group stage, giving everyone an opportunity to play. That means some promising young players like Matt Miazga, Christian Roldan and Jordan Morris might get opportunities on Wednesday night. Many of the players who started in the 1-1 draw against Panama could get the night off.

Martinique won their first game, posting a 2-0 victory over Nicaragua with goals from former Seattle Sounder Kévin Parsemain and the team’s most accomplished player in Europe, Steeven Langil of Legia Warsaw. While the Americans should be able to dominate possession, Martinique does have some pace and good finishers that can punish bad defending on the counter attack.
