Isaiah Thomas and Lance Stephen argued over Paul George on Instagram

The NBA offseason remains elite.

Paul George made it clear this summer that he’ll be leaving the Pacers after next season, that is if Indiana doesn’t trade him first. The Pacers have been active on the trade market since George made his intentions clear, but that’s not stopping his teammate Lance Stephenson from asking him to stay.

It wasn’t just that Lance asked, and tagged Paul George, in the post. It’s that he got into an Instagram exchange with Isaiah Thomas while doing it.

Isaiah Thomas has been quite active on Instagram lately, so it comes to no surprise he was ready to have words for Lance Stephenson. After all, the Celtics are one of the teams interested in adding Paul George to their roster. At least this exchange ended on nice terms, though.

Lance Stephenson sure knows what it’s like to leave the Pacers for greener grass on the other side. Paul George most likely won’t be taking Stephenson’s advice but you can’t blame Lance for trying.
