Bentley to join high school teammate on Siena basketball

Christian Bentley said it wasn't necessarily a package deal that led him to the Siena College men's basketball team.

[...] Bentley was very interested in continuing to play with Prince Oduro, his high school teammate who was already signed with the Saints.

Oduro said he recently earned a 1020 on his SAT, good enough to qualify, but is still waiting the NCAA to accept classes that he took in high school in Canada before he transferred to First Love.

Bentley said the Siena coaching staff would like him to play a little as a freshman at either point guard or shooting guard and give the Saints some outside shooting, an area in which Siena has been lacking at times.
