Stanley Cup Final live stream: How to watch Predators vs. Penguins Game 5 online

0

The series returns to Pittsburgh for Game 5.

The Pittsburgh Penguins look to take back the lead from the Nashville Predators in the Stanley Cup Final with Game 5 at PPG Paints Arena on Thursday night. The series is tied, 2-2, after the home team won each of the first four games.

The Penguins will try to continue that trend behind the usual brilliance of Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin. Their defense has been exposed as being inferior to the Predators’ incredible group, but that won’t completely sideline a team with forwards as good as Crosby, Malkin, Phil Kessel, and Co.

NBC will be live streaming the action yet again for those with a cable or satellite subscription. It’s also being broadcast on NBC in the U.S. and Sportsnet, CBC, and TVA Sports in Canada.

With the series effectively a best-of-three from here on out, it’ll be interesting to see what adjustments the teams make. Pittsburgh coach Mike Sullivan will have last change at home for Game 5, which he’ll surely try to use to get Crosby and Malkin in favorable positions.

The Predators have primarily matched up Crosby’s line against Roman Josi and Ryan Ellis and Malkin’s line against P.K. Subban and Mattias Ekholm. We’ll see if that continues Thursday night.
