Siena basketball seniors get final chance in MAAC Tournament

Siena head coach Carmen Maciariello was asked if he felt the quintet of fifth-year seniors and graduate students hit a figurative wall during the team’s five-game losing streak to close the season.

“I think if they have, this is a great way to break through it and kind of recharge,” Maciariello said before Monday’s practice. “I think it’s possible, but I think these guys all love the game and love their teammates and regardless of whatever they’re going through and whatever they’ve been through, we’re here and we really have to enjoy these present moments.”
