[Women's Basketball] Women Championship Tournament Opens Sunday at CSUM

Six teams will convene in Vallejo, Calif., this Sunday, Feb. 27, for the opening round of action in the California Pacific Conference Women's Basketball Championships.  UC Merced (16-7) went unbeaten in a COVID-impacted league season to earn the top seed in the tournament, and Westcliff (13-2), playing in its first full season of eligibility after a pandemic-interrupted year, is the #2 seed.  Both have byes into the semifinals of the league tournament, which opens Sunday, Feb. 27, at Cal Maritime in Vallejo, Calif.
