[Football] Threshers cannot overcome slow start, fall at Friends 38-20

WICHITA, Kan. - The Bethel Threshers (2-7, 2-7) played in their final road contest of 2018 earlier this afternoon, as they visited the Friends Falcons (3-7, 3-6). Bethel was kept off the board through the entire first half, and ultimately the 21-0 defecit they found themselves in was too much to overcome. Keondre Churchwell (SR/Phoenix, Ariz.) came up with two forced fumbles and a team-leading 14 tackles to help the Threshers' cause, and Zach Esau (SO/Hesston, Kan.) turned in a career-best 128 rushing yards, but Bethel fell to the Falcons 38-20.
