[Men's Cross Country] Cross Country Signs Sager For Fall 2017

SHAWNEE- Sager McCrary, from Heritage High School (Conyers, Georgia), will join the Cavaliers in the Fall of 2017, after completing a very successful high school career.  Sager was a vital member to Heritage HS Cross Country Team as he helped the team qualify for the State Championships in 2015 and 2016.  At both state meets, Sager had very successful showings as he individually placed in the top 100 out of large and competitive fields of 200+ athletes each year.  The biggest highlight of McCrary's 2016 season came with his eighth place finish as the 2016 GHSA 6A-Region 3 Cross Country Meet.  Sager was also very versatile athlete on the track, as he was a member of both the 4x800 meter relay and distance medley relay. The incoming freshman ran anything from the 800 to 3200 meter races.
