[Softball] Softball Unable To Keep Up With No. 6 Campbellsville

Campbellsville, Ky. – The Bryan College Softball Team looked to carry the momentum from their seven-game win streak into Tuesday's doubleheader action at 6th ranked Mid-South Conference foe Campbellsville University, but the Tigers outmatched the Lions in two contests that were ended early via run-rule. Bryan was able to get one run on the board in the opening game to avoid the blanking as Campbellsville rallied for nine runs for a 9-1 final through six innings. The Lions doubled their performance in the second game with two runs, but the Tigers also improved as they cruised to a 10-2 win after five innings of action. Bryan dropped their overall record to 22-20, while Campbellsville moved to a notable 33-11. The Lion's schedule has been anything but a breeze as they've faced-off against eight top-10 opponents and have battled top-15 teams another seven occasions.
