Pipeline Releases 2026 Mets Prospect List

0 1

The New York Mets’ farm system continues to get stronger each year. Nolan McLeanCarson Benge, and Jonah Tong headline MLB Pipeline’s new Mets Top 30 prospect list. Ryan CliffordJack Wenninger, and Jacob Reimer were listed as “just misses” on Pipeline’s Top 100 list and could make the list by the end of 2026.

Jack Wenninger was the biggest jump, going from No. 29 to seventh overall. Pipeline used his velocity gains alongside his 65-grade splitter as their reasoning for this jump. They currently view him as a number four or five starter that could raise his ceiling if he adds another true plus-plus pitch. Wenninger excelled with Binghamton in 2025, pitching to a superb 2.92 ERA in 26 starts. He struck out 147 in just under 136 innings pitched and threw a complete game.

Jeremy Rodriguez was the biggest faller, going from being ranked twelfth overall to not being ranked inside the top thirty. While they still praised his overall contact skills, the quality of contact and lack of impact led to his drop. Rodriguez struggled with Single-A in 2025, hitting just .202/.304/.236 (.540 OPS) in 112 games.

Pipeline also praised the Mets’ recent international signing periods as well as their improvements in pitching development. The Mets’ top international signee in 2026, Wandy Asigen, cracked the Top 30 list.

The Mets tool leaders per Pipeline:

Hit: 60 – Carson Benge
