After a huge year in the minor leagues, Carson Benge enters camp with a chance to win a spot on the Opening Day roster. With Luis Robert slated to man center field, Benge could open the year as the team’s left fielder. The 2024 first-round pick began 2025 in High-A Brooklyn and finished the year in Triple-A Syracuse.

A.J. Ewing enjoyed a breakout year in the minor leagues in 2025, advancing to Double-A Binghamton and swiping 70 bases on the season. He’ll likely begin the season in Binghamton, but it’s not impossible to think he can make it to the big leagues later in the year.
