Yeh Kuei-Ping leads Jia-Nan Eagles to TPWSL title, earns Championship Series MVP
The 10th anniversary season of the Taiwan Professional Women's Softball League (TPWSL) finished with Jia-Nan Eagles claiming the title in five games in the Championship Series against New Century Wasps.
Yeh Kuei-Ping, a member of the Chinese Taipei silver medal winning team at The World Games 2025, was named the series MVP.
New Century Wasps won Game One, 3-0, to take the lead in the series however, the Eagles bounced back with four consecutive wins to clinch the title.
In Game Five of the Championship Series, the Eagles lead-off hitter Yeh Kuei-Ping went 5-for-5, including a home run, to led her team to a 13-7 win to clinch the title. Chen Hsi-Yen also stayed hot, going 4-for-5 with two triples in the game. Lin Chih-Ying also contributed with two hits, including her first home run of the Championship Series.
MVP Kuei-Ping delivered a 14-hit performance in five games including 4 home runs and 11 RBIs in total.
After a two-year wait, the Eagles reclaimed the TPWSL Championship after winning the regular season with an impressive 28-2 record.
