WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup: Puerto Rico beat Panama, stay in Medal Round race
The Super Round of the WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup 2025 presented by RAXUS is on its way.
Puerto Rico defeated Panama to open the Super Round at Oninawa Cellular field in Naha. The match between the third-place finishers of the two groups was an elimination game to stay in the Medal Round race. Puerto Rico led the game from the third, but Panama got on the scoreboard in the seventh and had a chance to walk it off with the bases loaded.
The other two Super Round games will start at 18:30.
Chinese Taipei and Korea will take the field at Nishizaki Stadium in Itoman.
Japan will face the USA at Okinawa Cellular field.
The Placement Round opens at 10:30 at Nishizaki Stadium in Itoman, featuring China vs. South Africa.
The other two games will start at 14:30: Italy vs. Germany at Nishizaki Stadium and Australia vs. Cuba at Okinawa Cellular Field.
