2025 Updated Top 50 Mets Prospect List
The 2025 MLB Draft and Trade Deadline have passed, and the New York Mets still have a strong farm system. With that in mind, I’ve updated my list of top prospects in the Mets system, taking into account their progress since the start of the 2025 season.

Notable layers currently on the injured list include: RHP Matt Allan, RHP Dylan Tebrake, LHP Zach Thornton, RHP Calvin Ziegler, 1B Estarling Mercado, RHP Joander Suarez, LHP Luis R. Rodriguez, RHP Jace Hampson, RHP Ethan Lanthier and RHP Edgar Moreta.
The Mets’ farm system continues to produce starting pitching prospects. Still, a key development this year has been the strong growth of multiple top-hitting prospects and a handful of hard-throwing relief prospects nearing the majors.
The Mets traded nine players who were on my original midseason Top 50, Jesus Baez being the top-ranked at No. 7.
