Morning Briefing: Mets Head Into Final Road Trip of First Half
Good morning, Mets fans!
The Mets are currently sitting in second place in the NL East, a game behind the Phillies.
They head into the final week before the All-Star break with a six-game road trip beginning in Baltimore. The opening game of this series will feature Clay Holmes (8-4, 2.99 ERA) going up against Brandon Young (0-3, 7.02 ERA) of the Orioles.
After this three-game set in Baltimore, the Mets travel to Kansas City for another three-game series before hitting the All-Star break.
