Tigers 1, Guardians 0: This Team Is Unwatchable

Another miserable loss

It was another miserable loss for the Guardians today, that is now 9 losses in a row if you weren’t keeping count. There aren’t many words left to say about this offense. It is terrible and everyone knows it, but the front office refuses to try anything to make the team better.

The pitching staff had a great day, Logan Allen tossed 6 innings and allowed just one earned run with 5 strikeouts. His ERA is down to 4.07 on the season. It has gone a bit under the radar how important he has been this season as their #5 starter. Cade Smith, Paul Sewald, and Tim Herrin combined for 3 scoreless innings of relief.

The Guardians will look to avoid the sweep tomorrow against Tarik Skubal and the Tigers at 1:40 pm ET. It will be Gavin Williams pitching for the Guardians so that should be fun(hopefully).
